I have two CAMs, one is called Matrix Revolutions, another is called
X-CAM. These are CAMs which can be used with multiple encryption systems.
I tested them with SECA Mediaguard. What happens is that X-CAM works
perfectly but Matrix has big troubles. Lots of squares appear in the
picture and driver complains
about CRC errors. Both CAMs work perfectly in quite old set-top box.
Which CI interface is that using? The budget ones are quite on the edge w.r.t.
timings for talking to the CAM. I know for a fact one CAM just doesnt work
at all with the budget-ci interface.
What do you get if you enable the cam_debug module parameter?
